Belgian «Ice Age» (L'Age de Glace) opened until mid-January

In the small town of Bruges opened unusual for these places Ice Sculpture Festival.

Due to the fact that the air temperature in the area does not allow is a sculpture in the open air, the organizers established a special tent with refrigeration units that maintain a stable temperature at - 10 degrees Celsius. Organizers say that in the end they had to bring 700 tons of snow and ice, to thirty sculptors have created all this splendor. Visitors can see more than 70 sculptures, reflecting the culture and heritage of about twenty countries in the world: Arc de Triomphe, Big Ben, the Moscow Kremlin and many famous people. Festival «Ice Age» (L'Age de Glace) will last until 16 January next year.
