In India, two passenger trains collided
In the Indian state of West Bengal, two passenger trains collided. In the affected cars were traveling passengers with the cheapest tickets, so the cars were packed to capacity. The number of victims amounted to at least 50 people. Another 150 people were injured, among them dozens or in critical condition. Local authorities already suspected of organizing local railway accident Maoists, who two months earlier claimed responsibility for another major railway accident in the same area.
