The impact of the Internet on people It's hard to overstate. Without a phone and a computer with access to the World Wide Web, it is difficult to imagine modern life. As you know, whoever owns information owns the world. But as the Internet evolved, the amount of false information grew exponentially. So how do you know where the truth is? Aren't they trying to fool you?

Since February 24, 2022, Ukraine has woken up to a new and very brutal reality of war. Many cities were under massive attacks, it was scary and incomprehensible. What happens next? Wait for what? How do we proceed? People panicked and feared. This is normal, but it also helps the enemy.

The aggressors faced the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian army, territorial defense and ordinary people. Only the occupiers act not only on the front lines, but also in the rear. The Internet comes to their aid. And create mass panic and the division of society, enemies generate fakes and cyberattacks. Everything is aimed at destabilizing the country from within.

Attempts to influence mass consciousness are part of IPSO – information and psychological operations. IPSO can be used in peacetime, but during the war of Russia against Ukraine, these methods have acquired a colossal scale. The enemy tries to reach out to everyone and put the messages he needs into people’s heads. This will help create panic, sow distrust of the authorities. distort status quo.

For IPSO, propaganda, bot attacks, paid accounts, viral stuffing are actively used. In general, there are enough tools to demoralize society. Moreover, the enemy learns from his own mistakes. For example, he tries to disguise himself as his own and give false information.

What does that look like? It is impossible to say, because the enemy has many guises. Therefore, it is necessary criticize any information obtained from questionable sources. For example, messengers may send a message that today a city will be attacked by, say, Martians. Ask the author who told him that. You’ll probably get an answer in the style of “Babouli on the bench at the entrance spoke.”

Panic, doubt and demoralization are the main targets of enemy IPSOs. Don't let yourself get hooked by the enemy. Because of the defeats on the battlefield, the occupiers are intensifying their work on the Internet. If you don't drink the aquarium, eat the fish. This is why information hygiene is more important than ever. Trust only official sources or verified people. Subscribe only to the social media pages advised by the officials.

Don't open suspicious files. This can be a phishing attack – the enemy will try to disguise the virus as an important document. Do not disclose personal data on the Internet. Pages that ask to drop money, write card details or passport details can be hacked and used by attackers. Especially when it comes to the pages of relatives. Better call someone you know and clarify important information Live.

Try hard. resist mass hysteria for an unconfirmed reason. Listen to what the local authorities advise. And in any case, do not neglect the air alarms. Remember that there are military operations now and there are no training alerts. They are all real, so you need to quickly follow to the nearest shelter.

We must not forget that Ukraine is dealing with a cunning and dodgy enemy. Note that questionable social media accounts can learn important information. Don't fall for it under any circumstances. Be careful, because the bots have adapted, so many comments are now written in very clumsy Ukrainian. This will be a signal that the enemy IPSO is working.

Keep your mind cold and make decisions wisely. Don't let yourself be fooled.A smart person cannot be controlled. Adhere to information hygiene, do not believe dubious reports, do not fall for the tricks of the enemy. The occupation mission will definitely fail. Both on the front and in the rear. Ukraine is in line.
