Preparing homemade lilac syrup for the third year in a row, it is important not to miss the moment of luxurious flowering

Spring lilac is the most beautiful and fragrant plant that can be. I am always looking forward to seeing this beauty in the streets. the whole town will smell. I want to keep this smell for a long time. Lilacs bloom for a few weeks, but I always have so little. I want her to enjoy her beautiful color all year long.

To preserve the wonderful aroma, I decided to start making lilac syrup. By the way, many people think that lilacs are poisonous, but this is not true. The main thing is to use only the flowers of the plant for cooking. Why can you use ready-made syrup? Usually. I'm soaking in cake cakes or cupcakes.. It's delicious.

Peels You can also add pectin to the syrup and get a delicious beautiful marmalade or jam. Some hostesses even manage to make jelly from lilac. A good idea: make a beautiful jelly from lilac syrup and pour alternately with layers of sour cream jelly. From above, everything can be decorated with flowers of white and purple lilac. It will be a beautiful romantic dessert!

I also heard that lilac flowers can flavor sugar. You just need to put it in a container and mix it with flowers. By the way, if you take a transparent jar, it will turn out not only aromatic, but also very beautiful. The jar will fit perfectly into the interior of the kitchen.

Such a syrup can be watered with pancakes, as well as ice cream. Another option is to pour in a small bottle and do with lilac coffee syrup: half a cup of espresso, some milk and a couple of spoons of syrup. It will be incredibly aromatic and delicious!
