Mittlider also insists on regularly feeding plants with mineral fertilizers. But our hero went his own way, replacing mineral fertilizers with organic ones.

The walls of the box can be made of any improvised material: boards, logs, slate, bricks and not only. Before installing a high bed, it is important to carefully level the surface of the soil. Then the walls of the box are knocked down or twisted, and cardboard is laid at the bottom.





After the cardboard - a small layer of sand, and then a layer of coarse plant waste. Also, we should not forget about the protection of high beds from pests: our gardener advises to cover the box with non-toxic water-based paint.





Next, the bed should be covered with a top, cut from the lawn with grass (not weeds!) or straw. Then a layer of manure, humus and compost. At this stage, you need to water everything with braga. The final layer is 10 centimeters of ordinary soil.
