Why men in 40 are nice and fit, and women are exhausted and old

Some of our readers (and readers) raised a very interesting topic. They discuss among themselves why, by the age of 40, most men have more than fit-upthan women. What are the reasons for this: physiological, social or perhaps cultural?

The question is interesting and ambiguous. The relationship to your body in the world is completely different. In some countries, no one looks at your appearance, only your social or financial status matters. And somewhere, on the contrary, really appearance is of great importance and helps when applying for a job or finding a soul mate. What's going on here?

The toned body "We had a high school reunion recently." School. I remember most of them, their names and how they studied. We had a good class. But I was surprised at how we started to look at the age of 40. Most guys, that is, men as a selection thin, with broad shoulders and toned faces. The girls are all fucked up. Swollen, full. Why did that happen? The same age for all”.

To begin with, such statistics are far from everyone. Some people didn’t look so good over the years. And some “ugly ducklings”, on the contrary, spread their wings and turned into very slender swans. Genetics, I guess. But if we talk about women, then some reasons can still be noticed for yourself.

Everyone knows that pregnancy and childbirth take away a huge amount of strength and energy from a woman. There may not be two or three children. It is not surprising that such a depleted body will not look like a cucumber. As much as we'd like to. Add to this the accompanying completeness and possible health problems, and we get a comprehensive answer.

Of course, there is a small percentage of moms who have a full house of children, but they look stunning. Why is that? Probably genetics. Work on yourself and the gentle rhythm of life. But, for example, 30-40 years ago, no one had heard of any fitness or Pilates, and most of the citizens had slim, thin figures. So our bet is genes.

Probably, we should start with the fact that a very small percentage of women master truly complex physical professions. He certainly exists. But women builders, loaders and so on are far from the basis of the labor force, at least in our country. And that, physical activity of this kind will never provide a fit body.

Offices, hospitals, offices, educational institutions. There are probably more women working in these places. But it's mostly sedentary work. It affects normal weight, vision, posture, spine health. Plus, street food or delivery dishes do not contribute to the perfect appearance.

By the way, there are men in the offices too. And they can also sit at night behind papers or in front of computer monitors. But in this case, human biology comes into play. The percentage of muscles in men is significantly higher than in women. So their appearance suffers much less. Although we all know the sad statistics: men with excess weight now much more than it was before.

Do not forget about housewives. Sitting at home within four walls, and often with children, is stressful. Both physical and moral. How can the body function normally, if a person is constantly worn with cleaning, ironing, then cooking. And this is not all of the “women’s” responsibilities today.

However, trends in the world of technology lead to the fact that every year women’s work at home is only simplified. There are robot vacuum cleaners, smart multicookers. Even turning on and off the light and heat in the house can now be configured using technology and a regular phone. Agree, incomparable with the times when water had to be carried in buckets from the nearest well.

And young women often take advantage of it. Long live automation. Then it all depends on a particular person. Saved time can be spent on self-development or sports. Or you can just lie on the couch and watch something on TV, who needs it, it's your toned body. Everyone's personal choice.

Sports and cosmetics would now be logical to move to leisure time. As for sports and a healthy lifestyle, statistically, men predominate in gyms. Women also like to make their bodies sweat, but choose special programs such as yoga or cycling. But, to be honest, this type of recreation is not available to everyone, in addition, it is most often chosen by young people.

In order to go to a beauty salon, you need time and money. And here begins a very sensitive moment. A businesswoman may want to go to a session, but she doesn't have the time. And those who have it have to ask for money from their husbands. I must say that men are often very intractable and do not see the point in such spending.

So it turns out that beauty salons for some women are just a pipe dream. Or the number of trips there, for example, per month, is too much lower than what it would like to be.

What about abroad? The simplest answer to this question is different. Like South Korea. A very technologically advanced country with a large GDP per capita. Young and non-Koreans spend the most on men’s cosmetics in the world. Looking good for a man is rule number one. You may not be rich, but you must be well-groomed.

In Italy, for example, women do very well. The average senorita is not in a hurry to go to work with a live courtesy or even her husband. But they can’t clean the house either. Sun, sea, delicious food. Why bother with looks? Women are prettier anyway.

Trends in the world are very volatile. People in general are becoming more obese, and this is not surprising. The quality of food, work, stress have a great effect on the appearance of a person. No wonder recently there has been such a movement as a body positive, which justifies including excessive weight. What happens next, we'll see. The main thing is to give your body some time and make efforts not to start yourself.
