Competition gravediggers in Hungary

2 September in Gyula, 230 km South-East of Budapest, Hungary, hosted the national competition gravediggers. Participants had to dig the grave of the 80 cm wide, 200 cm long and 160 cm in depth, and then bury it back. The competition was attended by 11 teams, the jury assessed the quality and speed of work. The organizers are therefore trying to attract the attention of workers to this difficult profession that is under threat of extinction due to the growing popularity of cremation.
