The first week of the Olympic Games (43 pics + text)

It's time to take a look at some of the events. For more than 100 medals found their owners, and in the race for medals lead the US, Germany, Norway and Canada. Some have dubbed the Olympics "game properly," mainly due to problems with the weather and the bowl with the Olympic flame. Organizers say they are actively working to resolve problems, and athletes continue to amaze us with their achievements.
