Building the world's largest memorial

Crazy Horse Memorial - the world's largest memorial to the late Indian chief and the Furious The horse carved from solid rock. Built in 1948 (sculptor K. Ziolkowski died before he could bring the idea to the end).
Lakota Indians - people are proud and implacable. They fought with the federal government until 1877. Their leader was named chief Crazy Horse. For the past 60 years, his fans cut out of the rock sculpture. Unfinished memorial is popular even in this form.
