July 10, 2011 in the Kuibyshev reservoir at a depth of about 18 meters of sinking passenger ship "Bulgaria". Weekend route Kazan - Bulgars - Kazan turned terrible catastrophe, which killed 122 people. Today we'll go to Kuibyshev Creek, on the site where awaits his fate raised from the bottom of the Volga River boat, and visit the memorial, created in memory of those killed in the crash, "Bulgaria".
The sunken ship was raised from the bottom of the Volga River and towed to Kuibyshev Zaton, which is near the scene of the tragedy. After completion of the investigation he was put on a bank near the docks dockyard. Here he is still waiting for disposal.

In 2012, near the village of Kama-Syukeyevo Ustinsky region of Tatarstan in memory of the victims at the "Bulgaria" was inaugurated a memorial.

Part of the memorial began to stand side by side mosque and an Orthodox chapel. Their doors are always open.

In the first days after the tragedy to Kazan river port city residents carried children's toys. Ordinary people who are not touched the tragedy showed the complicity to the misfortunes of others.
The observation deck of the memorial is on the high banks of the Volga. It offers a view of the waters of the Kuibyshev Reservoir, which was played out in the waters of the July tragedy.

The width of the reservoir at this location more than 10 kilometers. The day has flown with the wind storm, the waves rose, a real storm broke out. We can only guess that experienced drowning, being in the water.

When you read the names of the dead, their dates of birth, the phrase "a terrible tragedy" takes on a distinct meaning. Adults do not have time to do anything. In small children do not have a chance to get out. An old ship built fifty years ago strongly tilted when maneuvering, scooped water portholes open and sank in less than two minutes. Of 201 people on board were saved only 79.
The names in the list are repeated many times sorrowful. It is not namesakes. They went - families.
