Indian elephants knit pajamas that poor girl wouldn't freeze in the cold

India is a very warm country, and elephants are terribly thick-skinned animals, isn't it? Nevertheless, elephants are too cold in January, as the temperatures drop sometimes to zero degrees — too cold even for the elephant! Fortunately, good Indian women consider it their duty to take care of the poor. Indian women knit and crochet warm blankets, pajamas and even stockings for the elephants.
