PUDINA CHUTNEY: unusual delicious seasoning of mint

This condiment, served in small quantities, suitable to any dish.

Ingredients:
 

  • 50 g fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 pod acute fresh pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp sugar


1 preparation method:

Carefully wash the mint and shake off the water. Use only the leaves and the thin stems, thick stems cut off.

All components are put in a mixer, adding the minimum amount of water required to form a homogeneous paste.

This chutney is best served chilled.
Cooking time — 15 min.





2 way (Vegan option):

If you want to make a condiment of fresh mint and coriander, take:

  • 25 g mint leaves,
  • 25 g coriander leaves,
  • 75 g toasted in the oven or roasted hazelnuts,
  • 50 ml tamarind water.
 

Add to it the rest of the ingredients in this recipe except the mint, put it in the mixer and turn it into a smooth paste. Instead of a mixer, you can use the meat grinder.

Mix thoroughly.

In order to prepare this version of mint chutney, you will need about 25 min.
