Two Japanese grandmother showed how to live in retirement! The world's best nursing home.

Nursing homes do not often serve as a source of inspiration for architects and interior designers. Japan is a wonderful country, and its inhabitants are peculiar in a different way of looking at the world.

House for pensionpraguecity architect Issei Suma planned something special for people with disabilities and seniors to they had awesome Golden sunset of life.





Complex Issei Suma was designed and built in the quiet mountain area of Shizuoka Prefecture, called "Dikka". He perfectly blended in the surrounding landscape.





At first glance it seems that the cabins are very tiny...





...but upon closer inspection, it turns out that this is absolutely not true!





Initially, "Jikka" was designed for two 60–year-old Japanese women. They also had to live their chef and social worker.





But later it was decided that a residential complex can accommodate and serve several tenants.





In 5 tents connected to each other, provided everything we needed and more! For example, this spiraling pool...





It seems that this fabulous house elves!

The total area of this complex is 100 square meters, but due to the unusual architectural solution, the building looks compact and comfortable.
