The "green" train: the High Line Park in Manhattan

Amazing Park created in Manhattan. Its creators urge people to abandon the traditional vehicles and lead a more active lifestyle. Even on rail tracks in this Park visitors are encouraged to walk.

After months of waiting, Friends of the High Line finally presented illustrations to your plan the last section of the city's famous elevated Park. Exclusive photos show that final third section, called "High Line at the rail Yards", is the perfect accompaniment to design the rest of the Park.

After passing through the drawn railroad tracks past the benches, Stoikov and playgrounds, visitors will enter a real oasis. The whole system will work in sync with the Hudson Yards Project. It is planned to build 16 new skyscrapers in Hell's Kitchen hoping to create a new and improved downtown.

The final section of the High Line will follow the rails from 30th West Street to 34th West Street and turn from the 10th to 12th Avenue. The current plan is to pave a green path around the nearby skyscrapers, creating an unusual and vibrant neighborhood quite like Chelsea, where the High Line was just beginning. Mayor Bloomberg has long paid attention to this industrial area, planning many projects to revitalize the Western Manhattan. The mayor calls it "the last frontier" of the island. The High Line will include not only recreation areas for adults, but also playgrounds for children to play.
