Castle Hochosterwitz
Carinthia is quite far from the Salzkammergut, one way trip takes about 3 hours. In order to get to the castle you need to drive from Klagenfurt, and then to look carefully for the signs, and in zavershenija need to go through 14 gates.
It existed in 860, during the reign of the Slavic Principality of Carantania and is accordingly called the Slavic name – Aservice. The center of the Principality was then located in present-day region of Carinthia.

Inside the fortress is a Museum (taking pictures inside is prohibited), where you can see an impressive collection of medieval weapons, to learn much about the customs and life of the middle ages. Most in the Museum remembered the captain of the local guards in the armor of the XVI century. Normal clothes, simple weapons.But the growth!
