Giant chair made of plastic bottles

Known for his extraordinary works such as a balcony or a woodpile, a Hungarian artist Gyula Varnai (Várnai Gyula) used 2500 used plastic bottles to create a chair that would comfortably accommodate even the elephant. This colossal structure was demonstrated last year in Park Galeria, a Mall in Budapest. This site often provides your atrium for exhibitions of art, so that buyers and bystanders have little opportunity to sit and relax in the giant chair.

It turns out that comfortable to sit on anything, the main thing – to approach the matter creatively. This chair is a joke affects not only the huge dimensions but also the material from which it is made. Apparently, it is assumed that this majestic "throne" should sit someone who is very big, but very light.

Of course, the thing is useless, but when that art has set itself the task other than lose the imagination of the people. So in this case, the author completely failed to surprise its audience. Managed to hit not so much the size and material as an enviable sense of beauty. Because very few people come to mind that regular plastic bottles can someone admire its elegance and grace. But the paradox is often the most advantageous option, and apparently, Gyula Varnai knows about it and is actively using this principle.

Unlike most other works by this artist a chair just exudes some kind of incredible optimism, pleasing to the eye and gives only positive emotions. So let's hope again that a creative person gracing us with something like that like this such a huge and at the same time such a sophisticated piece of furniture.
