Busan Opera House Competition – winning project in competition for the best proposal of building a new Opera house, designed by experts from the Norwegian architectural Studio Snohetta, inspired by the picturesque coastal landscape of Busan (Korea).





The new theater will be located in the port and, as the Opera house in Oslo, will give visitors the opportunity of exploring the roof of the building. According to the architects, a major landmark in the development of the project was to create affordable accessible and dynamic space.





Opera is an interactive open stage, which converts the modern cultural space of the theater, departing from the elite of the monument and closer to the democratic arena.
