The installation of "Planet" – a giant baby in Singapore

Any parent selflessly loves her child, tries in every way to preserve and cherish, and at every opportunity showing pictures of Chad friends. But the British artist and sculpture by Marc Quinn (Marc Quinn) came in his love to such an extent that made her little son to the whole world via a giant Planet installation that is installed in Singapore.



It turns out that not only Dutch Florentin Hoffman (Florentijn Hofman) in this world suffers from gigantism, creating huge sculptures depicting ordinary things size many times greater than the real. This work is located on the green lawn on the edge of the Gardens by the Bay, it is barely noticeable props, so it seems like this baby is hanging in the air amid the surrounding skyscrapers and metal trees mentioned above Singapore Park.

Your work Planet, Marc Quinn wanted to show the world the life story of his son, born seven months before its creation. The sculptor showed the child in all its glory and naturalness. Moreover, he has invested in this sculpture a lot of personal experiences and facts. For example, he added in polymer clay, which is made of this giant figure, a special synthetic formula that is used in his family for Chad's Allergy to cow's milk.
