Holi - colorful festival of spring
Traditional color festival in India (Holi, the Festival of Colors) is one of the most incredible celebrations. For two days, the aborigines celebrate the victory of good over evil, and most importantly - the death of the evil demotress Holick. Holi is the only holiday when elegant clothes remain in the closets of Hindus, because everything will still be smeared with colored paints.
During the festival, fire is traditionally transferred to the stuffed goddess Holik, this is all accompanied by dancing, singing songs, and eating crops. Children love the second day of the festival, because all day no one will scold you for pouring colored water and sprinkling rainbow powders, mainly red, green, yellow and blue!
Fires are burning on the streets, because the goddess found her death in it, and the burning of her stuffed one will mark the arrival of a new life. Do not think that all this madness - just Hindus believe that one should live and die brightly accompanied by music and noise.
At the end of the holiday, no one is in a hurry to go home. Hindus have fun walking around the city singing songs glorifying the arrival of spring and sunlight, meeting the dawn with brightly smeared faces. Therefore, it is worth visiting India in early March, when everything is reminiscent of shooting a Bollywood movie.
