Eco-travel to Vietnam: unique Cave of the mountain river

A couple of years ago nobody even knew about the existence of the largest caves in the world — over 5.5 miles long and nearly 500 feet high in some places. This tiny Wonderland boasts of a new plant species, fields of algae, cave pearls and the river — and it's all hidden human eyes deep underground.
Now the tourists have the opportunity to explore the cave, which is recognized as one of the most beautiful in the world, and see this natural wonder with your own eyes.

The cave, which was called Op Dоong Cаve (Napd Op Dоong in Vietnamese, which means "mountain river cave"), located in the province of Quang Binh in Vietnam. A local farmer found the cave in 1991, but he didn't come in her, due to the fact that the entrance that he found was in the form of a sudden break down. Thus, the cave was not explored until 2009.

The ceiling collapsed in several places, that enables sun light to get to the bottom of this natural wonder. Due to this, in the cave sprouted whole tropical forest areas, which are hidden from all eyes of the curious. In some places the cave is so large that could accommodate entire city block with all the buildings.
