An experiment that could destroy the Earth
When scientists 10 Sep 2008 officially announced the creation of the Large hadron Collider project, some began to think that this device will lead to the destruction of the world.
The project of the particle accelerator for six billion dollars was created for the acceleration of proton beams in a 27-kilometer tunnel loop with subsequent pitting, which will lead to the formation of microscopic black holes, which are believed, appeared immediately after the Big Bang.
Some believed that the result of the experiment, black holes will grow until you engulf the Earth. But experts dismiss these rumors, as has already calculated that each black hole has a limit, after which it will evaporate. This phenomenon is known as Hawking Radiation.
