Fancy pigeon, seen by scientists in a single copy

This kind of bird know as the spotted green pigeon ruffed and Liverpool it was named because the only known instance of a dove for the first time put on display to the public in 1851, the year the Museum of Liverpool. Edward Smith Stanley, thirteenth Earl of Derby, bought a bright feathered handsome to replenish its huge collection of birds, which were exhibited in the mansion Knowsley Hall, Merseyside County.
