From volcanoes will produce biofuels

In 1976, on one of the Islands of Iceland began work geothermal power station — then opened the hydropathic establishment, which gathered thousands of tourists. Now the Icelanders decided to go ahead — they plan to use carbon dioxide from this gas turbine in order to produce fuel.

Today the geothermal plant already operates a small factory in which gas is converted into biofuels using hydrogen. This is a cost-effective production, but perhaps only because nearby there is the volcano — a cheap source of carbon dioxide. The manufacturer that produces biofuel under the brand name Vulcanol, reports that it will be profitable already in 2014.
