At the end of January in the municipality of Termeno sulla Strada del Vino, which is located in the North of Italy, there was a gathering threat of a landslide. With the rock in the surrounding area fell about 4 thousand cubic meters of rock. One of the huge boulders even rolled a considerable distance and destroyed the barn, a 300-year old farm, the owner of which is the Catholic Church.
Damage to the building you can calculate several million euros. Luckily the incident passed without the victims of people — one of the boulders stopped just a meter from the wall of the house where there were people. But residents of the farm indefinitely evacuated, as there is still a danger of vanishing of new landslides.
