The laws of the Golden section for artists Hadi Alaeddin and Mothanna Hussein
NOT "portrait of a girl"
The designers of Jordan, Hadi Alaeddin (Hadi Alaeddin) and Mothanna Hussein (Mothanna Hussein), working under the pseudonym Warsheh, lay the great masterpieces of world art on the main components by applying to them (sometimes almost violently) the law of the Golden section, in a series of posters "NOT ART" ("NOT ART").
NOT "Saint Francis in meditation"
Here, perhaps, is the decency to recall that the Golden ratio is such a proportional division of the line segment or geometric shapes into unequal parts, in which the entire segment is to the larger part as the large part relates to the smaller one. In other words a smaller segment is to the larger as the larger to the whole.
NOT the "Portrait of Leonardo Loredano"
The principle of the Golden section in ancient times widely used in painting, sculpture and architecture to build harmonious compositions. Researchers find it in everything from the Egyptian pyramids and ending with "Battleship Potemkin" (which, however, Sergei Eisenstein was built this way deliberately). However, we should not forget that in many cases the ubiquitous Golden ratio may be the result of a fit, incorrect calculations, or coincidences.
NOT "the Conversion of St. Paul"
In fact, designers Warsheh and do not claim neither scientific nor artistic (with a capital letter and an enthusiastic gasp) the value of their "research".
"We don't really know anything about these pictures — honestly admit them, we even used Google image search to learn their names. We thought we should probably apologize to everyone who thinks we're doing something wrong, but then decided that is wrong those who do think about it".
NOT "the Death of Marat"
Is actively unpretentious attitude to the business that can not please the soul. "We are designers, not artists, and proud of it. The difference is that sometimes we gladly admit that you were working on something just for fun, and not trying to proclaim the deeper meanings and hidden philosophies, — add fuel to the fire of the humanitarian discourse are not artists. Sometimes we make posters just because they look cool. And sometimes it turns out that these posters are what we came up with — like a lot of people. People, which we are very grateful."
