Electric step bike
Japanese auto parts manufacturer Katayama Kogyo has developed a Bicycle pedal which is made as step-simulator. The trike is more stable on the road, its rider visible from afar. The movement of the pedals mimic a normal walk, handling and braking is significantly simplified, making the vehicle is the same comfortable as walking, but with greater speed, reaching 24 km/h. However such high speed can only be achieved through the use of electric motor power of 64 watts, is installed on the bike. A full battery charge with a capacity of 2.5 Ah provides a power reserve of 20 km of roads with asphalt coating. The bike WBC is 1.2 m long and weighs 36 kg, from July it will go on sale in Japan.
