Photo — school pandas

Only about 1,600 giant pandas now living in the wild. Photographer Ami Vitale was given exclusive access to the research centre for the conservation of the giant Panda in Wolong National nature reserve, where they grow their calves. In the centre kids learn to survive in the wild by simulating the conditions of natural habitat. These photos show what a long way we have to go to the staff of the centre together with the pandas before they released.
