3D Art in the Sand by Jamie Harkins
Jamie Harkins creates three-dimensional drawings on the beaches that definitely deserve attention. The team of 3DSD artists works in a very original style, using nothing more than beach sand as a canvas for their work. An important role in these paintings is also played by people, thanks to whom the entire volume of these masterpieces of art is transmitted.
3D drawings by artist Jamie Harkins were created with the help of his 3DSD teammates Lucia Lapf, David Rendu and Constanza Nightingale. Together, the team literally revived the sandy shores, covering them with three-dimensional sketches of castles, boats, steps and other objects. This collection contains only the most interesting works, but there are a number of other voluminous paintings in the sand.
These scenes were specially photographed from afar at the right angle. Sand portraits seem to come to life and come out of the paintings. Images of people interacting with 3B paintings make them seem even more real. LifeGlobe has repeatedly written about drawings in the sand, but these masterpieces can be put in a separate row.
The sense of permanence in Harkins’ understanding is of particular importance here. The author of the idea takes pleasure in the fact that the ocean will soon wash away his work. The project has existed on the sand for a very short time, but it is very difficult to forget it. Photos allow you to convey the dynamism and volume of 3D paintings, as well as save them forever.
