Tropical winter garden in Aarhus

In the Botanical garden of the Danish city of Aarhus was opened after reconstruction of the tropical Conservatory, built by the architectural company C. F. Møller Architects. Earlier sushestvovala here "ulitkoobraznyj" a huge greenhouse made in 1969, became too small for the heavily overgrown garden. The design of the new building based on innovative eco-friendly solutions, including complex mathematical calculations, by which the architects have achieved an optimal shape, which provides high energy efficiency and better interaction with solar energy — maximum sun in winter and minimum in summer. As before, the visitors can get acquainted here with lots of tropical plants, and even to walk among the branches of trees by using high-altitude platform.
