Amazon will heat its new office the warmth of the Internet

The giant online retailers Amazon.com will warm its new office in Seattle a warm working of the Internet.

Here as the President of Clise Properties Richard Stevenson described the "quarter grid", which will be installed in the campus of the "Denny Triangle", owned by Amazon.

Heat will come from the data center, located in 34-story tower Clise "Westin Building" on Sixth Avenue Seattle. The grid will be transporting the heated water from the data center in the skyscraper Amazon, which is currently under construction on Seventh Avenue.

The new building will contain a reservoir of 1.8 million liters, and a special installation, which will extract heat from the produced water. Hot water will disperse to other campus buildings Amazon, and then go back to the data center where the cycle repeats again.

Thanks to this solution, a new building Amazon for the first 25 years of my life will save 80 million kilowatt-hours of energy. Also this system will save money for Clise Properties, reducing its maintenance costs for the cooling towers, and retain water, which otherwise would just evaporate into the atmosphere.
