The first color photo of Mars taken by the Indian Mars satellite
A week earlier we wrote about the fact that the Indian spacecraft Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) successfully reached the orbit of the red planet and soon will be engaged in the fulfilment of its scientific problems on Mars.
When they reached the red planet, while on 28 September at the altitude of 74,500 kilometers above Mars, Mars Orbiter Mission has made its first color the fourth planet from the Sun. In the future image, like you can see above, will be used for further analysis and research of the upper layers of the Martian atmosphere.
Recall that the main objective of the Mars Orbiter Mission probe will search for and measure the level of methane in the Martian atmosphere.
