Wooden house in the forest in the Stockholm archipelago

Residential house area is 180 sq. m. designed by architectural firm Tham & Videgård Arkitekter on one of the remote corners of the Stockholm archipelago. The site is located on a small hill surrounded by tall pine trees, with views of the sea. The first floor is organized in the form of open space, with a separate area for kitchen and bathroom. Sliding panoramic Windows that provide abundant natural light and visually unite the space with the forest. On the second, floor attic bedrooms, lighted in the daytime through skylite in the roof. The whole structure, except the outer layer of black sheet metal, made of wood, and interior trim.
