House in the Greek godforsaken village
Greece. The Island Of Hydra. A small village. C 1930s this island was treated kindly by attention of the Bohemian sculptors, artists and writers of all stripes here spent the summer holidays. The artist from Manhattan Brice Marden was lucky with my grandfather, who left a legacy of a house by the sea. Now she often rests here from the hustle and bustle of new York and looking for inspiration. My home is not my castle, but heaven on earth.
Evening aromatherapy in the bushes of rosemary.
Breakfast apricots and olives from own garden.
The facade of the house painted white.
The house is immersed in the shade of the olive trees that were planted 50 years ago.
Doors and Windows the houses are painted blue-gray.
Part of the Windows overlook the sea and the old port.
The kitchen preserved old oven. All of the furniture emanates the aroma of herbs that were dried here for a century.
Floors of solid marble slabs. Here is not a luxury but a routine.
Old dressers and sideboards so many secrets kept.
Small bedroom.
And A Living Room.
The mistress returned from shopping.
That's a house next door to Brice Marden bought and made in this Studio.
My home is my Paradise.
In concrete birdhouses-boxes such will not find.)
