By the time Gigafabrika will be fully put into operation in 2020, it will produce more lithium-ion batteries in a year than the rest of the world produced in 2013.

This will reduce production costs by about 30 percent and, at least theoretically, in turn, reduce consumer costs Tesla vehicles.
