The hotel for the dead in Japan

How would you feel if you kept the bodies in the neighborhood? Residents of a quiet residential area in the Japanese city of Kawasaki live close to dead. Now these places are gaining popularity in Japan. Families can rent a room in hotel «Sousou» for a daily fee of 9,000 Japanese yen (£ 58, € 74, $ 84), to save the body of a deceased relative for four days, until they find a crematorium. The hotel has about 10 rooms for rent, where corpses are kept in air-conditioned rooms. In most other bodies such establishments are kept in refrigerators.

Rising demand is forcing open similar institutions in other cities of the country.
