France begins to get clean energy from the largest solar photovoltaic projects in Europe

While Germany, Italy and even Spain mastered solar markets, France in this race remained behind.

As compared with solar power 37, 5 GW installed in Germany, France to date has only 5 GW. Until now, solar energy covers less than 1% of the country's electricity.

That is why many were delighted last year when France announced its intention to build Europe's largest 300 MW solar photovoltaic installation.

Just a few days ago, France began to receive energy from the photovoltaic power running as soon as the solar project Cestas has been connected to the power grid of the country.

Large-scale project required a total of 25 separate 12 MW connections to connect the solar farm system. This project, located in the Bordeaux region, took about a year from the start of construction, to the present day and the official opening of the final, which will take place on December 1st.

"Cestas project is ready for operation, the mechanical part has been completed on September 30, and now we hooked it up to the grid," said the director of the consortium Cestas, Patrick de Labrousse (Patrick de Labrusse). "We are very satisfied with the work of the consortium, and were able to realize all the expectations that are established at the beginning of & quot;
