The boy noticed when he does his homework by the light of the "McDonald's". It turned his life

Photos made by a student of Joyce Gilos-Torrefranka, has traveled around the whole internet. In the Philippine city of Mandaue she saw and photographed a homeless boy who diligently doing pencil homework by the light of the local "McDonald's" sitting at the table as a stool.







It later emerged that the boy's name is Daniel Cabrera and his 9 years. His father died, and now the boy lives with his mother Christina Espinoza food stall in the open, without walls, because their house burned down. Despite this, Daniel diligently studying and dreams of becoming a police officer.





When the whole world saw this image, from all corners of the globe he showered donations. His mother received a grant from sponsors to create their own businesses, and the Daniel - and scholarship support from Filipino politicians. In addition, local law enforcement and social services were collected for this little family food.
