Phantom of Heilbronn ("The Woman Without a Face") - the alleged woman serial killer. The existence of this woman suggested after the same sample of DNA was found on the site of several crimes in Austria, France and Germany.
Total active DNA sample appeared at the scene of 40 crimes, including six murders (one of the victims was a woman police officer from Heilbronn). The crimes were committed in the years 1993-2009.
In fact, all the crimes were committed completely different people. At the end of March 2009 investigation concluded that the cotton swabs that were collected DNA has been contaminated.
