Leptotsefaly - is acne, which grow and multiply, remaining larvae
Leptotsefaly - the so-called larval eel - acne with a completely transparent body. For a long time it was thought that leptotsefaly - a separate species of fish, however, it became clear that they, in fact, are an intermediate stage of development of the eel from eggs to adult fish.
When acne is born, it takes the form Leptocephalus and a short time later, metamorphoses and grows into a normal fish. For unknown reasons, part leptotsefalov does not change and grow, just increasing in size. These "larval" acne lead a normal life, they can multiply and grow up to six meters in length, never taking the form of adult eel.
