Gynandromorphism occurs as a result of improper distribution of the sex chromosomes in cells during oocyte maturation impaired, its fertilization or cleavage.
Ginandromorfy divided into 3 types:
Bilateral: one longitudinal half of the male body, the other - the female;
Anteroposterior: the front part of the floor, the back - another;
Mosaic: in which alternate parts of the body, bearing signs of different sexes.
Most gynandromorphism prevalent in insects and spiders, but also occurs in other animals: crabs, lobsters, and even chickens. In vertebrates and humans distribution of male and female genital tissue anomalies not as sharp, so you can consider it gynandromorphism.
