Wegener's granulomatosis "squeezes" the head and 'thins' noses, ears and other body parts



Wegener's granulomatosis - a strange disease of unknown origin, which starts in the respiratory tract and moves up to the neck and head. This inflamed arteries and blood vessels, stops the flow of blood to vital organs. Then, these bodies 'thins', leaving large cavities that look really ugly. Patients can lose the nose or ears, their heads seem to be compressed.

Two Italian rheumatologist, doktorá B. and J. Richchieri. Valencina, wrote that before a person sick Wegener's granulomatosis, usually dying in misery after about 5 months. But today, in the presence of modern drugs the disease can be effectively controlled and the patients recover.
