Mozart was not born a genius, but he became so through hard work over the years

Patience and trud

Mozart was born January 27, 1756 in the family of Anna Maria and Leopold Mozart. Leopold was a composer, though not great. He was a teacher, and published a textbook on the violin in the same year when Wolfgang was born. With three years of Wolfgang attended music lessons to the older sister very early he showed an interest in music. At four he had already learned to play the piano score and five, probably already started to write music.

Here the story gets dark: there is evidence that Mozart Sr., at least, help the child when he wrote the music.

Firstly, most of the works written in the handwriting of his father. Secondly, my father being a composer no longer do when Mozart began to write their own work. So while there is no evidence, as far as really helped Leopold, edited or wrote music for his son, unanswered some questions remain.

This does not mean that Mozart was a genius, he was very much even. He just was not born so. Geoffrey Colvin, the author of the book "The over talent", reports that Mozart was the greatest, because it is very much engaged. His father gave him daily lessons in music from an early age, then he traveled to Europe and give representation to the nobility. At age 14 he wrote his first opera, but it was not successful.

When Mozart hired the governor of Salzburg, Austria, he was 17 years, 14 of which he lived and breathed music. Mozart worked as a musician full-time, while he was a teenager, and by the time he was successful, he was 25. He was already 30 when he began writing his most famous works.

Mozart was a great musician and an incredible composer, but he became so through hard work over the years. We now know how much he worked and how much time invested in his craft, but he was not born with this wonderful gift.
