Family of British Columbia, Canada, lives in a fabulous house of floating pontoons away from civilization.
Canadian wife challenged the bustling city life and began to live in an unusual house, which they called "Bay of freedom." Wayne Adams and Catherine King live on bonded with 12 floating pontoons. Their house, built in 1992 off the coast of Tofino, consists of wooden structures, greenhouses and residential spaces associated wooden transitions. With love for gardening and Catherine Adams hobby wood carving couple created a fantastic floating house.
The couple, who have two children, during the winter months collects rainwater for drinking, and in the summer enjoy drinking water from the nearby freshwater waterfall.
They have several greenhouses where fruits and vegetables are grown all year round. Electricity is supplied to the house through the solar panels and photovoltaic power generator.
