The British government has approved plans to build Europe's first spaceport Bashny.Net

According to the plans, the spaceport will be used for sending space tourists into space, and to carry out the super-high-speed flight, allows to overcome thousands of kilometers in a few hours.

The first time that Britain may be built spaceport, was announced in July last year. The authorities have announced the eight regions, where, presumably, the object can be located. And now plan to build Europe's first spaceport was approved - British authorities believe that the country could become a world leader in the field of space tourism and ultra-high-speed travel.

Also try to attract British companies like SpaceX and Virgin Galactic, inviting them to run their spacecraft with this site.



It is worth noting that the idea of ​​a super-fast trip, in the case of its success, is very promising. So, all the way from the UK to Australia may take a couple of hours. At the moment, in the commission of a conventional aircraft flight, it takes 14 hours. However, up to this kind of operations still need to hold a series of agreements and bureaucratic procedures.
