Cat Island
Japanese island Aoshima - one of about a dozen "cat islands" around Japan. Cats are six times more than men. At the end of World War II on the island lived about 900 people. Basically, they are engaged in fishing. Cats were imported here to deal with mice gnawing fishing nets. Now residents there are only 17 people. Cats bred and "capture" the island, attracting crowds of tourists.
