Rare photos of Audrey Hepburn
Born in Ixelles, Belgium, under the name of Audrey Kathleen Ruston, spent his childhood and youth mainly in the Netherlands. She studied ballet in Arnhem, in 1948, moved to London and worked as a dancer on the stage of London's theaters. Starring in several European films, Audrey drew the attention of the writer Colette, who chose her for the lead role in the Broadway production of "Gigi." In 1952, Hepburn played the lead female role in the American film "Roman Holiday" (1953), for which receives the "Oscar", "Golden Globe" and BAFTA. In 1954 he received the award "Tony" for playing in the Broadway production of "Ondine" (1954). Hepburn was nominated for "Oscar" for the film "Sabrina" (1954), "The Nun's Story" (1959), "Breakfast at Tiffany's" (1961) and "Wait Until Dark" (1967), as well as receiving a BAFTA Award for the film "The Story Nuns "(1959) and" Charade "(1963).
