Reinventing ax

Finnish enthusiast and inventor Karna Heikki (Heikki Kärnä) Vipukirves the company has developed a new form of the ax, with a displaced center of gravity. His ax Leveraxe, unlike traditional works slightly different principle and allows you to chop wood faster, easier and safer.

Traditional ax - it is a heavy wedge, which must first split the log in the middle (heavy and very few hard knocks during which the ax often gets stuck), then half again divided into two parts, and so on. Wedge requires skill and experience, often bogged down and bounces back. Leveraxe located with a certain offset from the ax that shifts the center of gravity towards the cleaved portions, and are automatically disconnected throughout. The tip of the blade slightly expanded - it slows down the penetration of the blade into the wood, but the momentum is preserved and gravity makes the ax in arm.

With this ax can chop a log Leveraxe the edges without the risk of injury and is much easier and faster. To understand how this works, it is best to watch the video.
