Theater and dance troupe «Pilobolus Dance Theatre» was created in 1971. Over the years, this team has collected imaginable awards in the field of dance. Members of the troupe manages to create all sorts of shapes of their bodies, demonstrating mastery of the human body. This time «Pilobolus» swung at the alphabet. In collaboration with photographer John Kane, they created the alphabet of "live" characters to use these images in the book.





Four days were spent in the studio, where their bodies twisted letters of the English alphabet. Next to each letter in the book will be displayed object, beginning with that letter. Pictures of objects whose names begin with that letter, and "drawn" dancers.
