The works of sculptor Ron Mueck-giperrealista

Ron Mueck began his career making puppets for children's television. Since 1996 he devoted himself entirely to art. Ron Mueck is known for its unusually naturalistic sculptures. In his detailed work, which is always less than the size of the natural persons or, on the contrary, monumental, Ron Mueck explores the ambiguous relationship of reality and artificial. His five-meter sculpture «Boy» (1999) was presented at the Venice Biennale. Ron Mueck's early works were created from fiberglass, but recently he started working with silicon, which is more plastic and makes it easier to form part of the body and hair to add.
