Vilnius, park Zhverinas practically downtown, ponds near the Russian Embassy. My friend Ricardas Anasauskas offers mandarin duck to take pictures. At first I do not believe him, because I know well that this beauty lives in the Far East, but the offer, of course, do not refuse. And a few minutes later with a huge surprise convinced that Ricardas rights: at Vilnius pond really floats mandarin duck!

We photograph it, it floats in the shadows, the sun; water reflects the green shore, and from this pattern varies. The bird, of course, beautiful, but the story is still the same. As long as on the horizon appears a flock of ducks. She sits down on the noise of the water, and among ordinary mallards we see another tangerine. This is where the fun begins: mandarin claim to a female mallard duck is trying to defend. But he manages to slightly as mandarin duck, though smaller in size, but turned out to be much more aggressive.
